Victoria Day Preparations

Saturday May 8th was a busy day at the site as the switching crew under the watchful eye of foreman Don Weymouth, Dennis Pringle, Ted VanGunst and new trainman trainee Scott Lang had both xCN6514 and xCN9000 operating to perform equipment moves that will facilitate the running of a passenger train on our opening weekend May 22nd.

And thanks to Brad Rae and others, the 9000 will be on the head end performing her duties of pulling the first train of our 2010 season in full green, black and yellow colours.

The shop crew has just run out of time and manpower to complete the re-assembly of xCN1392 for May but should have everything back together for the July operations.
